A Gala With Vision – The Annual Lions Eye Institute Eye Ball Gala

Published on

The annual Eye Ball Gala presented by the Lions Eye Institute will be held this Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Mainsail Conference and Event Center in Tampa, Florida.

The Lions Eye Institute for Transplant and Research (LEITR) is one of the largest eye banks in the world.  It is because of the generosity of others through organ donations, fundraisers, skilled volunteers and benefactors that they are able to fulfill their mission; to improve visual outcomes and quality of life for those who are blind or visually impaired through innovative ocular endeavors.

The Lions Club began in 1917 and in 1925 Helen Keller addressed the Lions and charged them with becoming, “knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness.”  Today, the Lions are in our local communities and across the globe.  They are going above and beyond as knights of the blind.  Learn more about the Lions and to find a club in your area.

If you will be in the Tampa area this weekend please check out the Eye Ball 2015 Gala for more information and to get tickets or to donate.  Our CFO, Robert Sket and ADA Compliance Specialist, Christine Sket will be in attendance of the Eye Ball 2015 Gala this Saturday.
