Come Feel the New Braille and Large Print Menus at Bob Evans Restaurants

If you are blind or have low vision and love casual American food; you’ve got to check-out the new braille and large print menus coming to your local Bob Evans restaurant. They feel almost as good as the Farm-Fresh food tastes!

Being one of our longest standing customers; Bob Evans has had up-to-date braille and large print menus in their stores since February of 1995. They’ve been way ahead of the game when it comes to giving their visually impaired patrons the normal dining experience they deserve.

Having the independence to read a menu is something most sighted people take for granted, but not the thoughtful decision makers at Bob Evans. Instead, Bob Evans has chosen to lead the way within the restaurant industry!

On your next visit be sure to request your braille & large print menu at the host-stand; you’ll be happy you did! Bob Evans’ sister chain Mimi’s Café also offers braille and large print menus for their blind and visually impaired customers.

Let’s all hope other concepts follow in their footsteps. Feel free to refer any of your local restaurants to Braille Works; we’ll be more than happy to serve them so they can better serve you.

What are your experiences when it comes to alternative format restaurant menus? Have you noticed an increase in the amount of stores that carry them these days? Or is it the other way around?
