Looking Back at CSUN: With so much information to absorb, we’ve been left with much to ponder.

This year at CSUN’s International Technology and People with Disabilities Conference we learned from many presenters the answer to the question regarding the 508 Refresh is: Still waiting, and predictions are not being made. The past predictions have come and gone. However, looking back at CSUN, there is good news.

We learned that many businesses are forward thinking, and they are not waiting for direction on 508 and title III compliance. There are businesses that are putting people first; all people first and following the WCAG 2.0 AA standards.

Consider How Everyone Will Be Included

As the population ages, more people are discovering that modifications and accommodations intended for persons with specific disabilities are also making daily living easier for themselves. More companies are discovering, when you consider all people from the start you can accommodate everyone.
