Measuring 12 inches by 2 inches; these easy-to-use rulers include both braille and regular-print characters as well as tactile lines on every eighth of an inch. The lines vary in length, making it simple for anyone to prepare accurate measurements; whether they are sighted or not.

We don’t simply stick braille-embossed labels over the rulers; the braille characters are pressed using a die-plate onto the strong molded-plastic rulers. The back of the ruler features the braille alphabet for a visual reference to sighted users. The alphabet on the back side is not tactile; this way the rulers will lay flat on any surface. Numbers are listed in Nemeth braille; the braille code used for mathematics.
